About the GSA Organization

GSA has been representing premier manufacturers in the electrical and electronic industries since 1964. The combined organization consists of 32 members total across all business units – including engineering on staff. 

John Beaver, CEO, spends 60% of his time traveling to each GSA business unit to focus on management of the outside sales force ensuring each salesperson has the technical knowledge and sales skills to properly promote the companies we represent. This includes making certain that each principal is receiving proper mindshare and consistent communication. GSA is large enough to cover each territory accordingly, but focused enough to give you our full attention!

Corporate Mission Statement

Each GSA business unit provides professional and technical sales representation for world-class electronic and electrical product manufacturers. GSA is committed to the complete satisfaction of our principals, customers and distributors and the success of the overall organization. Our goal is to assist customers with product design-in and procurement and to provide accurate, complete and prompt communication of the relevant issues between our principals, customers and distributors.

With this mission in mind, the GSA’s outside sales force is dedicated to spending at least 75% of their selling time at the engineering level working to get our supplier’s products specified into new and existing design projects. The balance of their time is served with distribution promoting and training their personnel in the products we represent as well as troubleshooting relevant issues that arise.
